Tasked to create new Art guidelines for all editorial illustrations for VICE.com

I landed on a simple style that could be applied quickly through VICE and it's verticals. By leveraging free assets online we can create simple three layer, color contrasted images that give the viewer just enough information about the article, but still make it interesting enough that you want to know more. This new approach proved to be quick to execute and helped save thousands of dollars each month on licensing stock photos.
