Started in 1990, Eastcoast Snowboarding (ECS) is a non-profit/independent magazine primarily run out of Stowe and Burlington, Vermont. It was the longest running eastcoast snowboard publication. After being on staff for a year, and sick of the way larger magazines were ignoring the east and misrepresenting the values of the culture, we wanted to deconstruct what a snowboard publication was. This was our attempt at showcasing snowboarding in it's purest form and what it meant to us.
